you do know though, that your script is completely flawed in security. i can easily do an sql injection without trying, maybe even accidentally. learn your code kid, before teaching it.

for what you have said, i know this is not the safest way to make a connection to the database. this a beginner video, you can't tell the beginner hoe to make a secure connection before he know the simple way.
beside may be you can tell us your way so we can discuss here so that all visitors will have an idea about how to make an sql injection, and how they can secure there code.
